What you don't pay for

Margin is one-time only. There's no monthly or annual subscription. There's no cloud sync fee, no AI-summary upsell, no "pro tier" gating basic features. Buy it once and keep it for as long as macOS runs Margin.

How purchases work

Checkout is handled by Paddle, the merchant of record. Paddle handles sales tax, VAT, and GST in every jurisdiction. You'll receive your license key by email immediately after purchase — activate Margin by entering the key once.

Theme purchases

Margin's themes are commissioned from independent artists to provide a curated experience. These are real artists doing real work, compensated fairly for it.

Themes you add from the Theme Store are tied to your Margin license and activate on the same Mac. New themes drop regularly — some free, some paid — and you only pay for the ones you choose to buy.
